Vitamin-mineral complex ALFAVIT Diabetes is designed with consideration of metabolism features of the people, diagnosed with diabetes.
Formulation contains all the essential vitamins and minerals, and is supplemented with lipoic and succinic acids, bilberry, dandelion and burdock root extracts. These substances are known to prevent diabetes complications and have a positive effect on the glucose tolerance.

Each tablet of the ALFAVIT Diabetes contains only naturally compatible ingredients and thus has its unique targeted action:

• “Energy+” tablet contains multiple compounds: vitamin B₁ and folic acid, the compounds of energy metabolism; vitamin C and iron prevent anemia, bilberry helps to decrease blood level of the glucose, lipoic acid increases glucose assimilation, succinic acid restores cells’ sensitivity to insulin, boosts its synthesis and secretion, and alleviate tissues hypoxia, that is common for diabetic conditions;
• “Antioxidants+” tablet contains vitamins C, E, beta-carotene, that support immune system and help body to resist detrimental effects of environment, dandelion root extract prevents diabetes-related cardiac complications; dandelion and burdock roots extracts support pancreatic function and promote glycogen accumulation, that positively affects carbohydrate metabolism;
• “Chromium+” tablet contains not only chrome, the crucial element for diabetes patients’ metabolism, but also vitamins K₁ and D₃, calcium and other ingredients, that strengthen bones, teeth and decrease risk of osteoporosis.

Course duration
People, diagnosed with diabetes mellitus are in especial need of micronutrients, caused by the diet restrictions and inability of the body to get vitamins and minerals from the diet. Patients with diabetes and people from the risk group are strongly advised to take vitamin supplements with not only prophylactic purposes, but also to prevent hypovitaminosis and other diabetes-related complications. Your endocrinologist will help you to choose the therapy course that is appropriate for you.

Regimen
ALFAVIT allows you to choose the effect you get from the vitamin prophylaxis. It varies depending on the mode of reception.
ALFAVIT can be taken:

• Once a day, three tablets at the same time, as ordinary vitamin-mineral complex. Then benefit from the ALFAVIT is the same as that of an ordinary vitamin complex.
• Twice a day (for example, one tablet in the morning and two – in the evening or conversely). The effect will be higher than with one-tablet complex.\
• Three times during the day, with an interval between doses is 4-6 hours. During this time the vitamins and minerals, which make up one tablet, assimilate completely, that prevents their unwanted interaction with compounds of the following one.
  This will provide up to receive maximum benefit from receiving ALFAVIT – it will be 30-50 % higher than from receiving a traditional vitamin and mineral complex.

If you forget to take one of three tablets – don’t worry. You can take it next time or with another tablet.
Take ALFAVIT in the way that is more convenient for you. And remember: even if you take three tablets of ALFAVIT separately sometimes at least, the effect will be higher than that of traditional one-tablet vitamin-mineral complexes (which are not considered the recommendations of scientists on the separate and combined reception of vitamins and minerals).

№ 60 (60 tablets) in blister.

Ingredients:
Formulation contains 13 vitamins, 9 minerals, organic acids and herbal extracts. Doses of the certain ingredients are increased due to the increased requirements of the diabetes patients. Positive effect on the glucose tolerance and efficiency in prevention of diabetes complications, such as nephropathy and retinopathy, was shown for a number of compounds.

Formulation is recommended to adults and children 14 years of age and over with diabetes mellitus as an additional source of vitamins, minerals (micro- and macro-elements) and organic acids.

Warnings:
Allergic reaction may occur in some cases. Do not use if you have been diagnosed with thyroid hyperfunction.
